Step-by-Step Tutorial Guide

Step 1: Open the Geofencing & Organisation Unit Module

  1. Log in to the TankhaPay dashboard.

  2. From the left-side navigation panel, navigate to Business Settings.

  3. Click Geofencing & Organisation Unit.

  4. The Geofencing & Organisation Unit page opens.

This module allows administrators to configure organization units and define geofenced work locations for attendance tracking.

Step 2: View Existing Organisation Units

  1. On the Organisation Unit page, review the list of configured organization units.

  2. Each record displays details such as:

    • Organisation Unit Name

    • Status

    • Created Date

  3. Use the search option to locate an existing organization unit if required.

This page provides a centralized view of all configured work locations.

Step 3: Create a New OrganisationOrganization Unit

  1. Click Add Organisation Unit.

  2. The organisation unit creation window opens.

  3. Enteron the requiredAdd details,Organization including:Unit button.

      Now

      Organisationthe following details:
          •    Organization Unit Name
          •    Address
          •    State
          •    Pin Code

    • Once

    • all details are filled, click on Save.

      DescriptionYou (can create multiple Organization Units if applicable)your branches have the same GST, PF, and ESIC numbers.

  5. Employees to the Organization Unit

    After creating the OU, click on the Manage Employees or Edit option.

    Select the employees you want to map to that Organization Unit and click on Save.

    This helps assign employees to their respective branch or location.

    Step 3: Open Geofence Settings

    Now go to:

    Attendance Management → Settings → Geofence Setting

    Here you can configure location-based attendance for employees.

    Step 4: Enable Geofencing

    Click Save & Next to continue.

The organisation unit acts ason the baseEdit locationicon beside the Organization Unit.

Enable the checkbox for configuringEnable geofencing.Geofences and click on Save.

Now click on Setup under the OrganisationGeofence Address

    EnterYou can either:
        •    Click on Get Current Location, or
        •    Copy the completeLatitude addressand ofLongitude from Google Maps and paste them here.

    To get coordinates from Google Maps:
        1.    Open Google Maps
        2.    Search for the organisationlocation
     unit.

    Fill inon the requiredlocation

    • Address

    • City

    • State

    • PIN Code

  4. VerifyCopy the enteredlatitude information.

After selecting the location, set the geofence radius as per your requirement.

Please note:
The minimum geofence radius allowed is 15 meters.

Once done, click on Save.

Your geofencing setup is now complete. Employees mapped to the correct location.

Step 5: Configure Geofencing

  1. Navigate to the Geofencing section.

  2. The selected locationOrganization is displayed on the map.

  3. Adjust the location marker if required.

  4. Define the geofence radius for the organisation unit.

  5. Verify that the marked area covers the intended workplace.

  6. Save the geofencing configuration.

EmployeesUnit will be able to mark attendance only when they are withinfrom the configured geofence area,location subject to organizational policies.

Step 6: Configure Attendance Settings

  1. Reviewthrough the attendance-relatedTankhaPay options available for the organisation unit.app.

  2. Configure the required settings based on company policies.

  3. Verify the selected configuration before proceeding.

  4. Save the settings.

These settings define how attendance will be recorded for employees assigned to the organisation unit.

Step 7: Assign Employees to the Organisation Unit

  1. Open the Employee Mapping section.

  2. Click Assign Employees.

  3. Select one or more employees from the available list.

  4. Move the selected employees to the assigned list.

  5. Click Save.

This ensures employees are linked to the correct organisation unit and geofence.

Step 8: Verify the Organisation Unit Configuration

  1. Return to the Organisation Unit list.

  2. Locate the newly created or updated organisation unit.

  3. Verify that:

    • The organisation unit has been created successfully.

    • The geofence has been configured.

    • Employees have been assigned correctly.

This confirms the configuration has been completed successfully.
